A third installment of my adaptations of iconic, mid-century kitsch art. Leonardo da Vinci meets Vladimir Tretchikoff's Chinese Girl, commonly known as the "Green Lady".
This time, I had to paint all of this one from scratch, rather than just adding my own elements into existing art. Needless to say, trying to paint the Mona Lisa isn't easy for someone with my below-par skills and it took multiple attempts to get even close to a passable resemblance.
I did away with the Chinese Girl's floral clothing decorations and replaced them cigarette and booze brands of the 1970s.
I might make this one - or a variation - available as a print.
